Duhamel, a finance student from Quebec had already been playing poker for six years at the age of 22. In 2006, Duhamel was old enough to play in casinos and tried his hand in some casinos. Casinos did not provide the success he had achieved, so returned back to what he did best – live games and online poker.

In 2010 Duhamel became the winner of the Main Event at WSOP. He succeeded to become the first ever Canadian to achieve the Main Event Bracelet. He chose to donate $100,000 of his winnings to the Montreal Canadians Children’s Foundation, the largest donation ever made by an individual. Duhamel is highly regarded for his mind play and inspiring strategies.
